Open networking and network virtualization provider Vyatta (www.vyatta.com) has announced a special discount on all Vyatta service and support subscriptions, redeemable against the purchase of up to two Vyatta subscriptions. The size of the discount will depend on the size of Cisco's gross profit margin, calculated after Cisco announces its earnings on August 5, 2009. A similar promotion last quarter let Vyatta customers purchase Vyatta subscriptions for 64 percent of the list price.
